As a Local SEO Specialist at Opt Digital, you will be responsible for leading the client-side execution and communication for our SEO campaigns, helping local service businesses dominate their markets and scale beyond referrals.

We do this by building future-proof SEO systems, custom link building, schema implementation, automation, and AI-proofed strategies, that consistently generate inbound calls, leads, and measurable ROI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of local SEO campaigns across multiple clients.

• Implement SEO systems including schema stacking, map stacking, content optimization, link building, and technical improvements.

• Oversee client onboarding, setting expectations, gathering key data, and ensuring smooth launches.

• Proactively update clients via calls, SMS, and email, always delivering insights before they ask for them.

• Translate complex SEO metrics into plain English outcomes (calls, leads, ROI).

• Coordinate internal delivery with writers, designers, and developers — making sure campaigns reflect client goals and branding.

• Monitor performance weekly, identify constraints, and adjust campaigns to hit ROI goals.

• Own the client relationship, ensuring they feel supported, understood, and confident in the process.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Local SEO experience (GBP/GMB optimization, service/location pages, citations, schema, on-page optimization, and basic technical SEO).

• Proven track record of driving rankings, calls, and ROI for local businesses.

• Strong communication skills — able to lead client calls and provide proactive updates.

• Comfortable managing 20–30 accounts concurrently without losing detail.

• Proficiency with SEMrush, GA4, GSC, BrightLocal, Local Viking, and automation tools (Zapier, Make.com, n8n).

• Experience with ClickUp, Google Workspace, and WordPress.

• Naturally personable and trustworthy — clients feel heard and supported when working with you.

• Results-driven mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and solve campaign issues quickly.

Compensation

$70,000 – $110,000 USD per year OTE, depending on experience and performance.
Performance bonuses tied to client retention and referrals.
